Four Pakistani movies to hit cinemas this Eid-ul-Fitr

Updated on Eid Day: Only Two movies out of Four are released in Pakistani Cinemas. The released movies are Ishq Khuda & Josh.

 

This Eid-ul-Fitr is going to be big; 4 Pakistani movies are set to release this Eid. All four movies are from big production houses and feature big names of the industry.

1. Josh

JoshJosh is an Urdu feature film directed, produced and written by Iram Parveen Bilal. The movie features Aamina Sheikh, Mohib Mirza, Naveen Waqar, Khalid Malik and Adnan Shah Tipu.The film is about a school teacher Fatima (Aamina Sheikh). Her life gets a turn when her nanny Nusrat Bi disappears. The film covers diverse topics like women’s rights, individual empowerment, feudalism, poverty, and class separation.

2. Main Hoon Shahid Afridi

Main Hoon Shahid AfridiMain Hoon Shahid Afridi is a project of Humayun Saeed and features Noman Habib and Humayun Saeed in lead roles. The plot of this movie revolves around Noman Habib who aspires Shahid Afridi and plans to be like him. After he sees that the only club he knows in his town has gone bankrupt, he plans to give his best in a tournament coming to his city Sialkot. He faces strong rivals and skilled cricketers in this tournament which is the last hope for his club and town as well. Humayun has played the role of Akbar Deen in this movie.

3. Zinda Bhaag

Zinda Bhaag is a Punjabi movie based on illegal immigration. The film has been directed by Meenu and Farjad. Zinda Bhaag is the second Pakistan movie to feature Naseer Ud Din Shah in lead role. We will also see famous model Amna Ilyas, Khurran Patras, Salman Ahmed Khan and Zohaib as main characters of the movie. The story of this movie revolves around three young boys who face immigration problems. So, Naseer Ud Din shah assists them and makes a way for them.

4. Ishq Khuda

Ishq Khuda is last of the four movies which are set to be released on this Eid-ul-Fitr. The movie is based on a love triangle and features Wiam Ammar Dahmani, Ahsan Khan and Shan in lead roles. The Sufism based movie involves essence of spirituality in its exceptional plot. The movie has been direct by one of the most prominent Pakistani directors Shehzad Rafique. Previously, Shehzad Rafique worked on stupendous projects like Rukhsati and Mohabbatan Sachiyaan.
