Saya E Khuda E Zuljalal made waves in the time of Waar two years back for having the biggest of stars come together for a grand mega budget project but it seems that time had just lost itself somewhere. From the superstar, Shaan Shahid quitting the film to rumours of Lollywood’s Diva, Resham playing one of the main leads; this patriotic film made headlines every now and then but managed to make people forget all about it right after things got clarified or out of the news. Out of this sudden curiosity that just arose inside me, I thought of having a conversation with the producer of this ‘not so’ shelved film, Doctor Pasha; asking him what the current state of this film is and he confidently clears all the misunderstandings. Responsible for making the stars of this generation. Saqib Malik – the magician who aced ad filmmaking in the best possible manner, is set to make his directorial debut on the big screen. Known for adding the glam factor to his work, Malik is known for taking out the best in everybody he works with. With his massive contribution towards the fashion industry, the revival of Pakistani film industry couldn’t stop Saqib from venturing himself as a silver screen director. In a recent interview with Fizzzzz (blog), the highly experienced filmmaker reveals that he is ready to dive into the world of cinema! He says: “I’m working on four scripts at the moment, don’t quite know which one would turn out as my debut”. As many say, the current state of Pakistani cinema is the time of experiment, filmmakers are experimenting with genres and hopefully they’ll figure out what works out. Farouq Mengal is one such brave magician who is venturing with a very different romantic film Hijrat which was initially to be released in 2013 and after several change of release dates, now people started believing that it was shelved (including me). Well good news for all cinema lovers of Pakistan, Hijrat is being released on the 6th of January, 2016.
Waadi Animations proudly announce the return of the immensely successful #3Bahadur animated feature film, now with a Part 2!
