Lahore Qalandars Celebrate Their ICON Player Mudassar Nazar’s 60th Birthday.



A surprise party was arranged by the Pakistan Super League franchise team Lahore Qalandars at their headquarters in Lahore Cantt. to celebrate their ICON player Mudassar Nazar’s (also known as Muddi Paa) 60th birthday. Mudassar Nazar was invited to the office for a general meeting, and was pleasantly surprised to see the entire Lahore Qalandars team and PCB’s top management present to celebrate his birthday.

Special arrangements made for the event included thematic branding of the Lahore Qalandars office, a cake cutting ceremony, Iftaar dinner followed by a media interaction session. Prominent attendees of the event included Fawad Rana (Chairman Lahore Qalandars), Najam Sethi (Chairman Executive Committee PCB), Atif Rana (CEO Lahore Qalandars), Aqib Javed (Director Cricket Operations Lahore Qalandars) and Naila Bhatti (Director Marketing PCB).

Mudassar Nazar, often referred to as a “hero of the heroes”, is a former cricketer. His legacy includes a career in Test cricket for Pakistan and in league cricket in Pakistan and England. He has also served as a coach for Pakistan, Kenya and several other countries.

Speaking about the event, Mudassar said “It was a great surprise. I had no idea they had planned so much for me. They had called me in for a meeting to discuss PSL. I am humbled by all the respect Lahore Qalandars have given me”
