Speaking of public welfare: Ahsan Khan & Resham visit SOS Village!

Ahsan Khan is one name which has been on the top for all those years. It be films or the best television productions – Khan was part of it all. But the story doesn’t end here my friend, Ahsan Khan is not only a good-looking and talented actor, but an equally efficient and giving human being. Or in short – a social worker.

A couple of months back, Ahsan Khan helped a homeless educated man get a job. And earlier this month, he happened to be the driving force behind building the first ‘Walls Of Kindness’ in Karachi and Gujranwala – an initiative started by Iran, where people would hang their clothes in a public area (a wall to be precise) for the underprivileged. And continuing on his path of humanity and social development; Khan visited the SOS Village on Monday. A hostel in Islamabad that helps in developing and grooming the lives of orphans.

Along with his co-star and veteran film actress, Resham and award-winning producer, Meraj Uddin; Khan’s company, Real Entertainment joined hands with Pakistan’s leading NGO for women, Inner Wheel. Inner Wheel’s District 342’s (that falls towards the North Region of the country) chairwoman, Sadaf Sajeel played a vital role in organising the event.

Both the organisations contributed to the children and the system in the form of daily used food items. As PakiUM had a brief conversation with Sajeel at the venue, the initiative will take place every three months at different places in the twin-cities and hopefully will be a joint venture between the NGO and Real Entertainment. We wish Inner Wheel, Ahsan Khan and everybody associated to the movement
