After years of wait, we are finally going towards the inauguration of first edition of our own cricket league, which is being named as Pakistan Super League. The league will be played in Dubai next year but the launching ceremony is going to held in the Lahore on September 20. Almost all big names of Pakistani entertainment industry are expected to attend the grand launch. Many of them took Twitter to express their excitement.

The first season of Pakistan Super League will feature five teams including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta and a total of 24 matches will be played between them from February 4-24, 2016 in Dubai. #AbKhelKayDikha will be used as official hashtag for Pakistan Super League.

Actor and producer Humayoun Saeed, Whose Jawani Phir Nahi Ani is going to release in a week, took his Twitter to express his feelings. “Cricket’s been missing in for some time.Glad its making a comeback.PK is ready for ,” he tweeted.

The gorgeous Mahira Khan, who was Humayoun Saeed’s co star in recently released Pakistani movie Bin Roye seemed all ready for the launch of PSL.

VJ and model Mathira will be flying from Karachi to attend the grand launch in Lahore.

Ali Zafar, who was highly charged up during Pakistan vs Zimbabwe series, when #CricketComesHome, might give us some surprise for us. He asked his fans to stay tuned.

Former Pakistan cricket team captain and all rounder Shoaib Malik seemed excited because of the inclusion of six hitting machine Chris Gayle of West Indies in PSL.

Just like Shoaib Malik, star opening batsman Ahmad Shahzad was also excited for Chris Gayle.

Mawra Hocane, who can confidently jump from sky, dive deep into the sea, is ready for another challenge.

#KhealMagarPyarSay, the lead actress of another recently released Pakistani movie Dekh Magar Pyar Say, Humaima Malik will also be seen in the launching ceremony of PSL in Lahore.

Singer and producer Haroon posted a song with his tweet to express his feelings.

And how can we forget Hamza Ali Abbasi, the one with huge fan following on social media. He prefered Facebook status to express his excited for PSL. Hamza wrote, “So happy to see this. Time to celebrate another milestone in the great journey of Cricket in Pakistan. International super stars like Chris Gayle, Sangakara, Sammy, Peterson and many others will battle it out as Pakistan Super League kicks off. Insha Allah it will be a super success for PAKISTAN.”

Umair Jaswal, who recently got featured in Coke Studio for the second time, also showed his excitement on his Twitter.

Following the celebrities, some politicians, including PTI’s Asad Umar and Shirin Mazari and PPP’s Rehman Malik also tweeted to show their feelings.
