Overload Front Man Farhad Humayun To Speak at OPEN Washington DC

[Pakistan, Wednesday, 6th November’13]: The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America (OPEN) is holding their annual conference called Changing the Game, in Washington DC on 9th November’13 and Pakistan’s very own lead singer, drummer and co-founder of Overload, Farhad Humayun will be speaking at this forum alongside other big names such as, Imran Khan and Tehreema Mitha. Farhad Humayun has already reached New York and will be speaking to the audience in an interactive segment titled “Between ROCK and a Hard Place.” His talk will take place in the afternoon segment of the conference and will be following Imran Khan’s session on “The Leadership Ingredients.”

In speaking about how he feels about being a part of such a big forum and what he hopes to impress upon the audience Farhad says: “They’ve asked me to talk about musical entrepreneurship in Pakistan. I am going to talk about my life growing up as a musician & an artist & how I’ve managed a successful career living in Pakistan and why the world should look at The Other Side/The progressive & Creative Side of Pakistan that the foreign media doesn’t show on TV.”

OPEN was formed in 1998 by Pakistani American entrepreneurs wanting to provide other Pakistani Americans assistance and opportunities for growth. OPEN has chapters in New England, Silicon Valley, New York, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and Washington DC with their first ever international chapter in Karachi, Pakistan.
