In the past couple of years, some small budgeted film like “Bol” and “Khud kay liye” have dominated the Lollywood. Apart from just a few films, the film makers have failed to captivate and to get people out of their houses. The latest strategy formed by them is to remake some blockbusters from the past, which according to them would lead Pakistani film industry back to the golden days. For the sake of this, remakes of six Pakistani classic films have been completed and they would be released as tele-films. This remake project is a joint venture of Geo Films and Tarang Foods under the ‘Tarang Housefull’ project. The music from these remakes will be released on 20 March in Karachi.
The films which have been remade as tele-films include Ayena, Dewar Bhabi, Arman, Abhi to Main Jawan Hun, Anjuman and Dil Mera Dhadkan Teri. The films will be broadcast on Geo TV and their music has already captivated audiences.
