The song ‘Tere Mast Mast do Nain’ from Abhinav Singh Kashyap’s action film Dabangg became an instant hit all over the subcontinent as soon as it was released. Now, the qawwali king from Pakistan has returned for the film’s sequel to lend a song which is too becoming a celebrated one. Titled ‘Dagabaaz Re’, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has once again out done himself.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, like many of his previous songs, has once again managed to use his incredible ability to captivate the attention of the listeners due to its melodic tone, soothing voice and most importantly: the sense of ups and downs of the vocals in the song; something which most of the rookies and veterans in the Pakistani music industry still fail at.
Considering the fact that music runs in the family, it is safe to say that Rahat is indeed a diamond for the present music era. The song is a catchy one and another one of thousands of examples of the fact that why Bollywood’s strong point is actually the neighboring country’s music industry itself.
Starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, Dabangg 2 is set to release on the 21st of December 2012.
