Shafqat Amanat Ali To Feature in Season 2 of “The Dewarists” and “MTV Unplugged”

Pakistani classical singer Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan,who had taken the classical singing to a new level like a storm, and has touched the height of success with his song “Aankhon Ke Saagar”, is now going to feature in an Indian music show, The Dewarists Season 2.

Shafqat started his music career as a leading vocalist of the band Fuzon, but later parted ways with the band and went on to deliver the biggest solo hit of his music career ,“Mitwa”, filmed on Shahrukh Khan and then there was no looking back for the singer. But right now it’s the unique musical program, The Dewarists, which has been successful enough to feature Shafqat.

Talking about the show Dewarists, it is an Indian Music show series, which will be aired on Star World, and will be featuring various artists of multifarious and different backgrounds. Last year Zeb and Haniya were also featured in the show and contributed  with ‘Kya Khayaal Hai‘. Also, the 47 years old performed live at the Dewarist stage on 14th of this month. Dewarist is going to be aired from 28th of October.

Another news about Shafqat is that he is going to participate in MTV Unplugged season 2, It is a platform where artists present their songs in a unique and raw style without the help of any electronic instruments. The show will feature the likes of A.R Rehman, Kailasa, Sunidhi Chauhan and other independent music bands from the underground scene of India.

The MTV’s show will be starting from 3rd November.
