Humaima Malick is certainly on a roll as of late. The model-turned-actress touched the hearts of thousand by her role in Shoaib Mansoor’s hit film “Bol” as the emotional Zainub; catapulting her popularity to no bounds. The hot buzz surrounding her is that she has grabbed the attention of none other than Ace Bollywood filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and may get the spot of the leading actress in his new project, Chitthiyan.
Humaima recently took a dazzling look test in Chopra’s own Bandra office which was conducted by cinematographer Binod Pradhan and is confident regarding the results despite the fact that there are still some of the actresses remaining for the test. A reliable source’s report claims, “Since she has just done what seemed to be an important look test with Binod sir, she surely seems to have a big chance of getting the part. Everyone is happy with her pretty, girl-next-door looks, though an official decision is yet to be taken.”
As of now, what is confirmed that the leading actor in Chitthiyan is Sharman Joshi. The script of the film is written by Chopra himself and is to be directed by Tanuja Chandra (Dushman and Sangharsh). Seeing how Humaima is quick on attracting the minds of filmmakers due to her acting skills, it will not be a surprise if Chopra chooses the energetic Pakistani actress for his upcoming project.
