Waris Baig Hired as Muslim Ambassador By an Indian Channel

A leading Indian channel Zee Salam has now hired Pakistani Singer Waris Baig as a Muslim Ambassador for the channel. Waris Baig is a renowned Pakistani singer known for his soft, melodious and mature singing.

The Islamic channel has hired Waris baig (as a Muslim ambassador) in order to exert some light onto the Urdu language and Muslim culture. Despite this contract, the most exciting news about Waris is that, he is making his come back to Pakistani music industry after 3 years with the release of his album which is not a music album but a spiritual one named as Hamd-o-Naat.

The upcoming album(Hamd-o- Naat) is having 4 Naats and 4 Hamds. Among them, Waris has released videos of 3 Naats and 3 Hamds for his fans. Videos of Hamd-0-Naat are made at historical locations of Lal Qila and Qutub Minar in India.

When asked for baig’s point of view about the matter, he said that he is very excited for releasing his album after three years and becoming the ambassador for the popular Indian Islamic channel Zee Salaam.
