Sharmeen Obaid, the first person to receive Oscars award from Pakistan was awarded with life time achievement award in Lux Style Awards that were held at Karachi, on 10th July 2012.
The charismatic director/film maker and a documentarian overwhelmed the crowd when stepped in to the hall and everyone were having their eyes gutted over her. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy arrived at the event wearing a Sania Maskatiya outfit, accessorising it with jewellery around the neck and earrings from Mandarin and was looking without any doubts one of the most ravishing females in the evening.
She was credited with this honour for her world acclaimed documentary “Saving Face” which highlights the bitter truths about women who are victims of acid attacks. This is the very same documentary which helped her to induct her name as the first ever person from Pakistan to hold the Oscar title in the field of production and media.
