Omran Shafique not in Uth Records 2.0Pakistani youth oriented music talent show, Uth Records 2.0, is just round the corner and we are hearing that one of the major producers of the show won’t appear in this season’s episodes.

Apparently, the music producer and talented guitarist Omran Shafique will not feature in this year’s Uth Records. Omran who has been an integral part of the show along with two other music producers; Gumby and Zeeshan Pervez; couldn’t give enough time to Uth Records session this year. The main reason as we are being told is Omran’s personal and professional commitments.

Omran Shafique, who came to the music scene with his band Mauj, started getting exposure by playing Live with Ali Azmat as his lead guitarist. Later on, Omran was picked by Rohail Hyatt to play for the remarkable Coke Studio sessions. Since then, he is now termed as one of the best guitarists of Pakistan, which is why he was approached by Ufone for their Uth Records Project.

Earlier this year, he also became a father. Now as his career is growing so as his commitments, which would be definitely affecting his personal life too. We are also assuming, he didn’t take part in Uth Records just because of these reasons.

But finally the good news is, he will be playing in Coke Studio Season 5 , the jam sessions for which have already begun.
