Quratulain Balouch Wins Pakistan’s Youngest Achievement Award UK and Europe 2011

Talented Pakistani pop singer Quratulain Baloch was recently nominated in Pakistan Achievement awards 2011 which were held on 16th September in Britain and won the award for ‘Pakistan’s Youngest Achievement Award UK and Europe 2011’.

Quratulain Baloch, who came up as a rising star in ‘Coke Studio’ and gave a melodious single ‘Akhian nu rain de’ was approached for this award which has been given to other popular stars including famous boxer ‘Amir Khan’. She explained her excitement by these words “I was approached for the Pakistan Youngest Achievement Award UK and Europe 2011 and was thrilled to get an award that is recognized internationally,” She further said, “People in London love Pakistani music and appreciate it to the fullest”.

QB’s tremendous voice got more attention by her OST for drama serial ‘Humsafar’ which was appreciated by almost every Pakistani. Well! It is quite difficult to make your place among popular singers but she did everything so beautifully that everyone welcomed her cheerfully in this music industry. So far, QB has only received positive reviews by the critics. She gained popularity in a very short period of time and said,“Some people have it ingrained in them, while others have to work a little harder to get where they want. I would say focus and determination are very important. Another key point is to know what one is capable of,”

When QB was asked about acting scene she quipped, “I’m a very bad actor; it wouldn’t be the best decision for me to even think of acting,”

Quratulain Baloch is an emerging star of tomorrow and has made her place through her melodious voice. She gave a sign to girls of Pakistan that everything is possible and only hard work is the way to success.
